L.I.F.E. (Life Is For Everyone)

"God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its end; no one can under any circumstance claim the right directly to destroy an innocent human being." (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2258)

The St. Thomas More Life Is For Everyone (LIFE) committee is dedicated to the propagation of the Pro-Life message throughout the parish and the community. We offer various activities, including the March for Life trip, Blessing of Babies, Pro-Life Holy Hours, the December Giving Tree, and the Mothers Day Carnation Sale, as well as other activities that forward the Pro-life cause. The Helpers of God's Precious Infants
An international Prayer Pilgrimage, it is recognized and approved locally by the Bishop of the Diocese of Allentown. Helpers give witness, by their presence at the abortion mill, of the intrinsic evil of killing a pre-born child. Helpers also maintain a prayerful silence while focusing on the recitation of the 15 decades of the rosary, with an appropriate hymn after each decade. They display a crucifix--symbolic of the Faith, and the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe--patroness of the pro-life movement.

The Helpers meet every second Saturday of the month at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church. Each pilgrimage begins with Mass at 8:00 a.m. after which they begin the rosary and process from the church to the abortion mill via car. Those who are unable to witness at the mill may remain in the church for recitation of the rosary there. The Pilgrimage usually finishes by approximately 10:30 a.m.
