Philadelphia Flower Show SOLD OUT

Show theme is "Hawaii - Islands of Aloha." .
Guests will enter the 2012 Flower Show beneath dynamic projections of crashing waves and one of the largest and most exciting displays of white orchids ever assembled. Towering palms, bamboo, green walls, and a tropical plant canopy will immerse visitors in the Hawaiian rainforest. A 25-foot-high waterfall will splash down into Pele's Garden, an island of exotic flowers and plants where performers will conjure volcanic flames and the Fire Goddess. Every day, the Show will come to life with hula, music and fire dancing performances. :

Philadelphia Art Museum & Longwood Gardens

Take a guided tour of the Van Gogh Up Close exhibit. This exhibition focuses on Van Gogh's tumultuous years, a period of feverish artistic experimentation that began when van Gogh left Antwerp for Paris in 1886 and continued until his death in Auvers in 1890. Also, visit Longwood Gardens. See the many flowers by following the walkways, indoors and out. In the visitor center view the short video. Explore the gift shop. Pilgrimage to St. Ann's Monastery & Shrine Basilica, Scranton.
Tuesday, May 15. Cost $35
Take a day to renew yourself spiritually. Join us as we visit the National Shrine of St. Ann's Monastery & Basilica
in Scranton, PA. The day will include Mass, a tour of the basilica and grounds (which contain both outdoor Stations
of the Cross and St. Ann's Grotto.) We will hear a brief history of the Passionists, have time to visit the gift shop, listen
to a presentation, and have an opportunity to attend the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Lunch is included and will be
provided by St. Ann's.
